What To Expect
Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52
Our tour guide and Jeep driver will give you a safety briefing and a detailed itinerary in the lobby of your hotel before the start of the tour. Our Hanoi City Insight Jeep Tours will take you on an adventure through the hidden backstreets and alleys of Hanoi's inner districts, as well as the grand cityscapes and stunning architecture along the main streets. Our knowledgeable guides will share fascinating stories about Hanoi's rich history and interesting facts as you explore the city, from the famous opera theater to the remains of a B-52 "Flying Fortress" found in a small lake. On the second part of our Hanoi City Insight Jeep Tours, we will escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the serene side of Hanoi around West Lake. You can enjoy the refreshing breeze before we head back to the narrow lanes that lead to the iconic Reunification Train Street. Along the way, we will visit a local family and have the chance to chat with the owner, a war veteran, and listen to his captivating stories about Vietnam's history from his childhood to the present day. We will also learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.
Hanoi Train Street
As our Hanoi City Insight Jeep Tours winds down, we will make our way back to the city for some relaxation and recuperation. To cap off your tour, we will treat you to a delectable lunch featuring authentic Vietnamese cuisine, followed by a visit to a local café renowned for its delicious egg coffee.
Ba Dinh Square
On this route, we will pass by some of the most notable landmarks in the city, including the Hanoi Flag Tower, which is almost 200 years old and is known as one of the symbols of the city. We'll also see the Hanoi Opera House, PASS BY the 1000-year-old royal Thang Long citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, Tran Quoc Temple, Truc Bach Lake, and more.
West Lake
he second leg of our Hanoi City Insight Jeep Tours takes you away from the city’s rush and bustle and into the quieter, more contemplative side of Hanoi around the West Lake’s shoreline, where you may cool off in the cool wind before returning to the small lanes that lead to the famed Reunification Train Street. We will stop by a local family and get the opportunity to speak with the owner, who is a war veteran, about his fascinating anecdotes about our country, from his boyhood to current Vietnam and its legacy, as well as learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.
