What To Expect

At either 8:00AM or 13:00, your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. We'll set off on an adventure to explore the outskirts of Hanoi, where you'll discover the typical local villages of the Northern Vietnamese countryside. First, we'll cross the Red River, where you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the river and its boats floating peacefully beneath. You'll also get a chance to witness the beautiful green vegetable farms on the nearby island. Continuing our journey, we'll travel through the countryside along the Red River's banks. Along the way, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking scenery of Vietnam's countryside, and see the farmers cultivating their lands. Next, we'll visit a local family who specializes in the art of bonsai. Here, you'll learn about the intricate art form and admire some of the stunning plant creations. Our knowledgeable guide will also assist us in translating and chatting with the locals to learn more about their culture and lifestyle.

After visiting the bonsai makers, we will proceed to a nearby wet market where we can sample some of the exotic fruits that Vietnam has to offer. We will then make a stop at Lotus Lake to quench our thirst with refreshing sugarcane juice or other local drinks. Continuing our journey through the countryside, we will pedal along dirt roads and pass by rural villages until we reach the Co Loa Ancient Citadel. This citadel, built in 200 BC, holds a significant place in Vietnamese history as a symbol of the country's ability to establish and defend itself against foreign invaders. Our guide will provide us with fascinating insights into the life and times of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong, the founder of the citadel. It is truly an incredible experience to step back in time and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.

After exploring Co Loa Ancient Citadel, our next stop will be Hoi Phu village, which is renowned for its production of broomsticks - a popular traditional craft in the Red River delta. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe skilled broom makers as they create functional and exquisite broomsticks out of broom grass. You'll learn about the history and techniques of this craft and see how it has been passed down through generations. We'll then head to a local restaurant for lunch, where you can savor Hanoi's delectable cuisine and try some of the unique and flavorful dishes that Vietnam is known for. Afterward, we'll make a stop at a local cafe famous for its Vietnamese Egg Coffee, a must-try for coffee lovers visiting Hanoi. We hope to share our passion and love for Hanoi with you on this unforgettable Jeep tour of the countryside. Your tour guide will then escort you back to your hotel, leaving you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
