Overview

Caution! High risk… of falling in Love with Porto! You will be picked up at your accommodations and we’ll start to explore the city.  The rhythm is slow-paced with lots of conversation, historical facts, curiosities, stops for photos and to enjoy the views. We’ll see places like S.Bento station, Ribeira and the Miragaia, along the river Douro with his bridges and all the way to the beach to understand the connection of the city's history with the ocean. On our way back we’ll explore Cristal Palace, Clérigos, Vitória and learn all their history.  After, we´ll cross to Gaia, see the D.Luis bridge and the Port wine neighborhood.  (Only for All Day Tour) - We’ll have lunch at one of the fisherman's villages around Porto and after lunch, what better than a Port? We’ll explore Gaia, the natural reserve, and visit one of the oldest Cellars to learn their history and to taste their Ports.  We´ll finish back at your accommodations. What To Expect
Torre dos Clerigos

We´ll start by picking you up at your hotel or accommodations and then start to explore the city and discover her history and great views.

Porto Sidecar Tours

We´ll visit iconic places in the city like Ribeira neighborhood and understand how Porto grew and was so important for portuguese history.

Jardim do Passeio Alegre

We'll continue to explore the historical centre, going through it's oldest neighborhoods like Clérigos (clergymen), Virtudes and Vitória. We'll learn the stories and histories behind the old buildings and landmarks, like Lello Bookstore and Clérigos tower, and their importance in the history and evolution of Porto.

Ribeira Square

Eventually we'll make our way to the mouthe of the river Douro following the river and enjoying the great views bu the water.

Rua Santa Catarina

For lunch we'll head into one of the little fishermen's villages around Porto to enjoy a grilled lunch of the fresh catch of the day in a typical local restaurant with local food.

Extensao do Douro do Museu da Cidade

After lunch we'll comtinue our tour with a bespoke visit to one of the oldest Port Wine companies in Porto to learn about the history of Porto wine, the wine companie and ending with a amazing tasting of the best examples of Port wine so that you can start to know, distinguish and enjoy them.

Centro Interpretativo do Patrimonio da Afurada

After our visit to the Port wine company, we'll head back into the city and explore a little bit of the longest commercial pedestrian street in Europe, full of clothes, shoes and handbags shops, before ending the tour and dropping you off wherever you prefer.
