Red Tour takes you to Göreme open air museum, the most famous tourist attraction in Cappadocia, Paşabağ, Devrent and Honey (Love) valleys where you can admire the amazing rock formations made by nature itself. Cappadocia region was formed 60 million years ago by erosion of soft layers of lava and ash from Mount Erciyes (Argeus), Mount Hasan and Mount Güllü composing with wind and rain over millions of years. Human settlement at the Cappadocia region dates back to the Paleolithic era. The lands where the Hittites once lived have been one of the most important centers of Christianity in the later periods. Houses and churches carved into the caves and rocks turned the region into a huge heaven for Christians escaping from the dominance of the Roman Empire. Cappadocia is a region spreading an area covering the provinces particularly to Nevsehir, Kirsehir, Nigde, Aksaray and Kayseri.

What To Expect
Avanos
This Unesco World Heritage site is an essential stop on any Cappadocian itinerary. First thought to be a Byzantine monastic settlement that housed some 20 monks, then a pilgrimage site from the 17th century, this splendid cluster of monastic Byzantine artistry with its rock-cut churches, chapels and monasteries is 1km uphill from Göreme's centre.
Goreme Open-Air Museum
Cavusin is pretty small village and one of the oldest settlements of the region situated along the Goreme-Avanos road in Cappadocia. In Cavusin, locals still live in the rock-cut dwellings and stone houses.

Avanos is situated nearby the Kizilirmak River and attracts big number of visitors with its European town look. Avanos is also the center of terracotta artworks since 3000 BC. Avanos is also the most green town of Cappadocia. We will visit pottery workshop.
Pasabag
Zelve Valley is one of the most popular open air museum areas of Cappadocia, situated between Avanos and Goreme, nearby Pasabag Monks Valley. Being part of UNESCO World Heritage Site, Zelve Valley Open Air Museum is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia that travelers may experience sharp pointed and wide fairy chimneys.
Uchisar Castle
Devrent Valley, which is also known as Imaginary Valley and also as Pink Valley does not have cave churches like the other valleys of Cappadocia. There are no Roman castles or Roman tombs in Devrent Valley, either. Actually it was never inhabited. So what makes it so famous? The lunar landscape!

Uchisar is situated on a hill within a fairy tale atmosphere. Uchisar is famous for its unique rock castle of Uchisar Castle, observation terraces, rock-cut houses and Pigeon Valley, and of the best places to explore and stay in Cappadocia.
