What To Expect
Bantry Bay

Driving slowly along the coast with Bo-kaap behind us. Our journey will take us through some of Africa's most posh suburbs. Bantry bay is one of them. A seaside suburb tucked up on the western slopes of the world famous Lions head mountain. According to meteorologist Bantry bay is the only suburb in Cape town that is not affected by the south eastern winds that Cape town experiences on a regular basis and this is all thanks to the Lions head. Bantry bay has over 260 wind free days a year and which is a significant number considering Cape town's windy climate.

Simon's Town

Next to Bantry bay is Camps bay. Another plush sea side suburb punctuated by the popular white sandy camps bay beach and the twelve apostles mountain range. Guest will have an opportunity to step out of the vehicle and savour the beautiful views and take photos of what man's hand and nature have blended into a masterpiece.

Chapman's Peak Drive

A short 20 minutes from Camps lies Hout Bay .A beautiful town surrounded by dramatic mountains on all sides. Hout bay is Dutch for wood bay and history books has it that this is where the Dutch east India company once used to fetch timber for the building of settlements and Ships .Hout bay is also affectionately know as The Republic of Hout bay. The dramatic mountains surrounding the town Isolates the town from all other towns and leaving motorist with only one way to access this town and which is by driving over mountain passes.

Noordhoek Farm Village

Once we have had our fair share of seals and souvenir markets at Hout bay harbor. Our journey will resume along the rocky coastline via one of the most awe inspiring & scenic mountain side road in the Cape. The Chapman's Peak drive. The proclaimed engineer's pride Chapman's peak drive tread from North to south on the edge of the Chapman's peak mountains that drop into the ocean like an avalanche .There are view picnic sites and rest spots whereby guest will have an opportunity to hop out of the car and soak in the beauty through naked eyes and/or camera lenses.

Muizenberg Beach

Should the tour not stop at Hout Bay harbor .Guest will have an opportunity to stop at Noordhoek farm village. Right at the southern end of the Chapmans peak drive and laden with renown coffee shops, Raw juice shops, bakeries and souvenir shops .Guest might also want to take this opportunity to use the restroom before the long stretch towards the Cape of Good hope.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

Boulders beach is home to the endangered African penguin. It is also one of the only 2 mainland penguin colonies in South Africa. Since they were listed on the red list of endangered species, a boardwalk was constructed to restrict too much human interruption at the penguin colony. However guest can still get very close to the penguin and get close up pictures albeit without having to be standing on the beach but the boardwalk.

Victorian built Simon's town is home to South Africa's navy .The town is also known to be a hot-spot for fresh seafood.(Guest might also have lunch here depending on the guide's discretion on the day)

Kalk bay town for Lime stone bay is known to be South Africa's oldest holiday resorts. Tucked up between the sea and mountains. Kalk bay is glittered with stylish buildings from the mid 1800s.One might like to explore Kalk bay's restaurants, art galleries ,theaters, cuban cigar bars or even the fresh fish markets should there be time.

Muizenberg is the last town along the false bay coast before driving back to Cape town. A surfers haven. Muizenberg's over 14km long beach is quiet popular to ordinary beach goers, swimmers and surfers. The water is warmer than in Cape town. The bay is shallow making swimming fun and the surfs are consistent and a heaven to the surfers.
