What To Expect
Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial

Right in the heart of South Africa’s largest, and the world’s most famous, township (so big, it’s practically a city in its own right) Vilakazi Street is where Nelson Mandela spent the first couple of nights upon his release after 27 years of imprisonment, with his former wife, Winnie Mandela. Number 8115 Orlando West was also where he lived between 1946 and 1962. Home to some well-known Sowetan party spots like Kwa-Lichaba, it's the place to go in Soweto!

Vilakazi Street

Popularly known as "Ndofaya" to the locals, Meadowlands Zone 4 has some niche pubs where you can mingle & socialise with the locals. It's a place off the beaten path with its own offering of nightlife.

FNB Stadium

This is home to places like Meat Meet, Establishment Pub & Pat's Kitchen at Opozit Lounge where the after party for the Soweto Pride usually takes place.

Mandela House

First National Bank Stadium or simply FNB Stadium, also known as Soccer City and The Calabash, is an association football and Rugby union stadium located in Nasrec, bordering the Soweto area of Johannesburg, South Africa

The Nelson Mandela National Museum, commonly referred to as Mandela House, is the house on Vilakazi Street, Orlando West, Soweto, South Africa, where Nelson Mandela lived from 1946 to 1962.

The Hector Pieterson Museum is a large museum located in Orlando West, Soweto, South Africa, two blocks away from where Hector Pieterson was shot and killed 16 June 1976
