La Tourelle de Tamarin is an isolated mountain in the village of Tamarin. The summit of La Tourelle offers spectacular views over the whole western region of Mauritius and other prominent mountains. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, to take a break from your busy routine, this hike is designed for you! It gets you back to the wilderness, allowing you to connect with yourself and nature again. You will also be hiking on a constant elevation which will boost your level of endurance, getting you ready for more challenging treks. That being said, the hike also includes multiple landslides - those sections can be tackled by both beginner and expert hikers with the help of ropes.
